Privacy Policy

Foldgami: Origami · Effective 23 October 2026

In short: Foldgami does not collect personal data and does not track you. There are no accounts. The app sends anonymous usage statistics (for example "a model was completed") so we can improve it, and it can back up your progress to your own iCloud account.

Anonymous usage statistics

Foldgami uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to count events such as "model started", "model completed" or "onboarding skipped", together with the app language and basic technical information (app version, iOS version, device type). Each install is represented by a random, salted and hashed identifier that cannot be linked to you, your Apple Account or other apps. No names, email addresses, advertising identifiers or locations are collected, the data is not used for tracking or advertising, and it is not sold.

Your progress and iCloud

Your progress (completed models, stars, daily streak), your language choice and your settings are saved on your device. If iCloud is enabled on your device, your progress is also backed up to your own private iCloud account by Apple, so it comes back if you reinstall the app or change phones. We cannot see this data. You can erase your progress at any time with Settings → Reset progress.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Foldgami schedules gentle reminders locally on your device (for example, "Your next model is waiting"). No push server is used. You can turn reminders off in Settings → Reminders or in iOS Settings.

Hinge and motion data

On foldable iPhones, the app reads the hinge angle only while you are folding, to fold the paper on screen. This value is used in real time and is never stored or shared.

Children

Foldgami is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal data, only anonymous usage counts, we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.

Türkçe özet

Foldgami kişisel veri toplamaz ve sizi takip etmez; hesap yoktur. Uygulamayı geliştirmek için TelemetryDeck ile anonim kullanım istatistikleri gönderilir (örneğin "model tamamlandı", uygulama dili, iOS sürümü). Her kurulum size bağlanamayan rastgele bir kimlikle temsil edilir; ad, e-posta, reklam kimliği veya konum toplanmaz, veriler satılmaz. İlerlemeniz cihazınızda ve iCloud açıksa kendi özel iCloud hesabınızda yedeklenir; bu veriyi biz göremeyiz. Ayarlar → İlerlemeyi sıfırla ile silebilirsiniz. Hatırlatmalar cihazınızda yerel olarak planlanır. Katlanabilir iPhone'larda menteşe açısı yalnızca katlama sırasında anlık olarak kullanılır, kaydedilmez. İletişim: [email protected]
